Our leaders are in the state of denial!

Posted: June 26, 2008 in Uncategorized
I would like to notify the readers that I have no intention to say that our leaders are denying the fact.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi – He lost the support from the people, to be specific, 2/3 majority of parliament, despite he is able to form the government but this is not the case for the president of Barisan Nasional. We must know that – despite having a more serious problems like racial tragedy, economy crisis & the sacking of its deputy president, UMNO and Barisan Nasional have never lost their 2/3 majority in parliament – so, it is fair to say that, when UMNO leader fail to secure this – he is actually rejected by the people. As what made UMNO and BN survived to lead this country is generally because most of the voters – they vote for UMNO and BN, if not because of these parties, the leader of Barisan and UMNO will certainly be voted out.

The Deputy Prime Minister & Wife – as alleged by RPK in his statutory declarations – to have a direct and clear involvement with the murder of Altantunya, I must say that this is only allegations – I consider both statements from RPK and our Deputy Prime Minister, just statements that have yet to be proven – the clear picture is, RPK stated that he has got some witnesses to prove these statements but Najib and Rosmah only gave a statement to deny but they do not add more on the authority of the denial. Here, the onus is more on statements made by RPK and it is somehow have the assurance to be proved.

I am pretty sure that Malaysians are getting smarter, despite the fact that we have this saying “You are not guilty until you are proven guilty”, we must know that in due process of finding the truth of these allegations will certainly tainted with some rather usual practices of which I should not mention here – look at the late Eric Chia case, the judge questioned the AG, why didn’t you call the witness as he is the key behind this whole set of facts, the judge somehow imposing a question or rather doubt on the action of the AG, I am sure that you are smart and will consider this fact to reach a truly fair conclusion.
